- This role is responsible for providing timely and accurate analytical support for production.
- This Temporary position will last approximately 8 weeks, if the position is extended, the work schedule can be modified for enrolled students.
- The schedule will be 8am – 12pm, 4 days a week including every weekend.
- The hourly rate: $23.07/hr.
- Perform basic calculations of serial dilutions and adjusting sample concentrations within a measurable range.
- Process and interpret data outputs from instrumentation, ensuring compliance with accuracy and precision requirements.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently, under minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Laboratory Experience: Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related coursework with Hands-on experience in wet chemistry techniques and laboratory sample preparation.
- Basic understanding of analytical chemistry principles including solution preparation, concentration calculations, and instrumental sample analysis.
- Understanding of quality control protocols, including instrument calibration.
- Compliance with safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and awareness of hazardous materials.
- Quickly learns and applies information, knowledge and skills.
