Overview of the role
  • This role is responsible for providing timely and accurate analytical support for production.
  • This Temporary position will last approximately 8 weeks, if the position is extended, the work schedule can be modified for enrolled students.
  • The schedule will be 8am – 12pm, 4 days a week including every weekend.
  • The hourly rate: $23.07/hr.
Key Accountabilities
  • Perform basic calculations of serial dilutions and adjusting sample concentrations within a measurable range.
  • Process and interpret data outputs from instrumentation, ensuring compliance with accuracy and precision requirements.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and written instructions.
  • Ability to work independently, under minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications
  • Laboratory Experience: Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related coursework with Hands-on experience in wet chemistry techniques and laboratory sample preparation.
  • Basic understanding of analytical chemistry principles including solution preparation, concentration calculations, and instrumental sample analysis.
  • Understanding of quality control protocols, including instrument calibration.
  • Compliance with safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and awareness of hazardous materials.
