Elavon is looking for the next Sales Manager super star to join our team!

Job Functions:

  • Manages a staff of Account Executives responsible for managing a portfolio of customers, retaining and growing revenue.

  • Responsible for financial performance of portfolio, setting objectives for the team, guidance and coaching of team members, upselling strategic products and services.

  • Organizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of regional Account Executives

  • Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are met.

  • Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.

  • Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.

  • Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.

  • Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.

  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.

  • Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses.


Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

- Five to eight years of relevant experience, preferably in payments or merchant services

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Strong experience building out a sales team including recruiting, hiring, and training a team from the ground up

- Advanced knowledge of sales and sales strategies

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong management and leadership skills

- Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills

- Excellent customer service/relations skills

- Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends

- Ability to make important decisions independently

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $112,880.00 - $132,800.00 - $146,080.00
