Survey Field Technician—Clarksville, TN

TTL is hiring a Survey Field Technician to support a variety of civil, industrial, environmental and transportation-based projects throughout Tennessee. We are seeking someone highly motivated, organized, creative, and responsible who thrives best when working as part of a team. This role is responsible for working all aspects of a survey crew under the direction of the Survey Crew Chief. No experience is required and TTL is willing to train qualified individuals.

What You’ll Do

  • Completes field assignments accurately while following the TTL safety protocol for personnel and equipment.
  • Performs field survey operations on the following surveys: boundary, control, topographic, construction layout and staking, environmental mapping, GPS/GIS surveys, and land surveying.
  • Works alongside the Crew Chief for completion of field work by performing the administrative functions to include all computations, reduction of field notes, maintaining records, etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
  • Perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs
  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold

Job Type: Full-time
