Principle duties and responsibilities include:
- Work with external suppliers and internal resources to perform account reconciliation.
- Monitor and report out on critical material shipments to plant.
- Serving basic duties of supporting problem solving of key inventory control clerk positions.
- Use 9 step BPS methodologies to root cause and implement corrective actions for problems related to inventory accuracy, material shortages, and material overflow.
- Work to reduce line calls by responding within cycle.
- Develop and maintain process maps and standard work documents related to inventory control.
- Attend and Support shift MDI board meetings for Receiving, Material Planning, Inventory Accuracy, and Production.
- Invoicing from suppliers
- Ensuring correct payment to suppliers along with getting credit back
- Working with ERP system to manage all invoicing
- Managing TAP and submitting in a timely manner
- Must have Associates degree or actively in process of obtaining a degree.
- Must be able to operate independently, and work with professionals from multiple departments and companies.
- Strong verbal and written analytical, administrative, and communications skills required.
- Must be able to work extended shifts as needed and have excellent attendance.
- Must be team player and have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.
- Ability to adapt to changing systems, demands, and priorities.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to accept challenges and respond aggressively.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software such as Outlook required.
- Must be able to navigate between multiple computer programs with efficiency.
- Supply Chain or Operations Excellence experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle R12 preferred.
- Willingness to complete APICS CPIM certification within 12 months of start.
