Gannett’s B2B Marketing team is looking for a Web Strategy & Growth Marketing Manager to join our growing team. Reporting into the Director of Marketing, this team member will support our ambitious vision of driving growth and retention of our b2b business.
The Web Strategy & Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the digital and website strategy to promote USA TODAY Network’s media and advertising business solutions.
Individuals in this role will possess strong product expertise in digital marketing solutions (specifically website strategy, PPC, social and digital display platforms) and will collaborate with leadership to deliver results to meet our business needs and maximize our return on investment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Drive awareness of the Gannett’s business media solutions through a robust performance and brand marketing strategy across website, paid social, paid search, programmatic display and OTT.
· Develop website strategy that leads to new customer acquisition inquiries for USA TODAY Network advertising solutions
· Identify growth opportunities and drive channel optimization for client solutions, building a culture of innovation and data-driven experimentation.
· Works collaboratively with marketing and other company teams across a variety of media.
· Provide recommendations for all media planning, briefing, reporting, and optimization for brand campaigns across all paid channels
· Proactively come to the table with new platforms to test that align with audience insights and growth goals
· Aggressively optimize paid social programs; and test, iterate and grow other digital ad platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc).
· Work cross-functionally to execute initiatives like product launches and seasonal/key marketing campaigns.
· Design and construct web pages, emails and digital marketing pieces. .
· Collaborate with team members, including graphic designers, to design creative concepts and wireframes with business goals in mind, and turn mockups into functional web pages.
· Building website front-end and conducting website performance tests.
· Analyzing website performance and troubleshooting errors.
· Provide support to ongoing reporting of performance metrics to Marketing team members, including senior leadership.
· Work closely with other Marketing Operations team members to develop and maintain processes to execute campaigns and ensure proper tracking is in place for reporting.
· Assist with other Marketing and Sales-related initiatives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Web Design or a related field
· 5+ years demonstrated experience leading a performance marketing strategy (especially Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Search, and Programmatic) with a CPA performance marketing framework and hands-on experience
· Strong web analytical skills across Meta, TikTok, Google, Shopify, Email, etc.
· Experience driving growth for a brand
· Experience interactive digital/web design experience
· Comprehensive knowledge of Mac and PC web design environments
· Knowledge of web IDE applications for integrated development including Dreamweaver, Coda, or similar
· Knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, or other drawing applications
· Knowledge of typography, design, and basic graphic illustration techniques
· Knowledge of coding languages including HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
· Knowledge of progressive enhancement techniques including animation and effects using CSS or JavaScript, media queries, and responsive design
· Ability to analyze and structure data, turn data into insights, and insights into actions that assist with decision-making
· A passion for using data to drive business decisions and desire to measure performance
· Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing requirements and shifting priorities.
· Self-starter but able to take direction, ability to work both independently and as a team player
· An enthusiastic, take-charge attitude, coupled with a desire to collaborate and learn.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $68,400and $140,000. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
