We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Training and Development Specialist in our Inside Sales B2B Marketing Solutions organization. As a key contributor, you will collaborate with sales managers to shape and enhance our sales training program by fostering increased sales acumen and seamless integration of digital sales applications. Your responsibilities include planning, monitoring, and executing various sales training activities across our SMB Sales Teams
Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of training content covering digital products, sales process and marketing services, while maintaining awareness of other Gannett marketing solutions.

Host remote training sessions for groups and individuals using various platforms like instructor-led training, live webinars, and remote web sessions (e.g., GoToWebinar, Zoom).

Innovate and develop new modules or curriculum to continuously enhance solutions training and promote the adoption of integrated selling.

Collaborate with Training Managers to create methods, content, and strategies for delivering digital product knowledge and integrated solution selling aligned with Gannett's core sales methodology.

Participate in sales meetings and collaborate with the quality assurance team to pinpoint areas requiring training

Address product and sales-related queries from sales representatives, management, and fulfillment team members through phone, email, and support systems.

Stay updated on new Gannett product offerings, product changes, and maintain relevant industry certifications.

Develop training materials for non-traditional products and the evolving competitive media landscape to diversify revenue streams.

Coach salespeople and managers post-training to ensure effective adoption and retention of training content and principles.

Establish accountability measures through analytics to drive revenue goals, objectives, KPIs, and other metrics.

Manage all digital training materials, sales resources, and insights across internal storage, Gannett LMS, and Sales Essentials.
Experience
-

Minimum of 3-5 years of inside sales experience in media-related sales.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructor-led training and hosting online meetings through platforms such as GoToMeeting and Zoom.

Excellent presentation skills to credibly educate, scale, motivate, and inspire learners/attendees.

Working knowledge of online ad serving technologies and DMS solutions.

General knowledge of data analysis and insights-driven campaign strategies.

Strong familiarity with digital media performance analytics, including Google Analytics, AdWords, and Facebook.

Excellent communication skills suitable for a multicultural environment and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred; or equivalent work experience in a media-related business.

(NOTE: A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered equivalent to the education listed above.)
The annualized base salary for this role will range between $51.300 and $105,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
