The Consumer Subscription Growth Team is responsible for working with USA Today & 250+ local publications to grow the subscription base through increased subscription sales, engagement, and improved subscriber retention.

 

The Manager of Revenue Planning and Analysis will work closely with the Senior Director to drive data-focused, results-driven decisions that utilize investments efficiently and prioritize revenue growth.


Base Salary: $80,000 - $90,000/annually

The primary responsibilities are driving subscription growth through analysis:

  • Analyze data and lead analysis to develop powerful data-driven decisions
  • Be an analytical thought partner who can determine which data is relevant to create actionable and measurable insights
  • Execute pricing strategies that align with the company's business objectives and customer needs
  • Have working knowledge of business drivers & KPIs and determine which levers directly or indirectly impact them
  • This is a fast-paced, focused group that is required to work cross-functionally to successfully manage projects with positive outcomes
  • Must be self-directed, a willing collaborator, and enjoy working in a team environment
  • Must enjoy a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and be willing to take risks
  • Must have the ability to think and pivot between strategic and tactical actions
  • Strong track record in analytic, finance, or commercial marketing/sales role
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate across teams
  • Must be able to work remotely

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years in an analytical role, MBA is desired
  • Highly Proficient in the use of Microsoft Product Suite
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of cost metrics, P/L, and other business-related analysis

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $79,200 and $186,300.  Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications, and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
