The position provides guidance, recommendations, and structure for the USA Today PERFORMANCEIQ Enterprise Teams. The individual is chiefly responsible for the management of integrated and strategic work structures with the goal of maintaining service continuity in an operationally efficient manner.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the business to develop an understanding of business processes, assess end user needs
  • Identifies and resolves process issues and works with team leadership on root cause analysis
  • Design, develop, and maintain key business reports and data sets with the collaboration with IT
  • Develop data visualizations for all levels within the business
  • Automate internal report generation, visualization, and distribution where possible
  • Collaborate with IT and utilize knowledge of business process to provide effective data analysis
  • Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements
  • Develop and monitor audit criteria
  • Maintain documentation of assigned products
  • All other Duties as Assigned

Preferred Qualifications, Work Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Basic SQL skills required
  • Experience with R and/or Python preferred
  • Experience working with a variety of data structures and dataset types
  • Experience with data visualization software like Tableau, Power BI, etc. preferred
  • Must have extremely strong verbal and written communications skills, strong computer (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, etc) as well as presentation and customer facing experience.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $59,400 and $140,300.  Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
