Physical Therapist Assistant Inpatient
Shift: Full Time Days, Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Tennessee.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
• One year of experience in the care of patients in an acute hospital, outpatient, or acute rehab setting is preferred.

About the Job:

• The Physical Therapist Assistant assumes responsibility and accountability for providing physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by a Physical Therapist and in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies while maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.
• The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy interventions, provides patient and family teaching and works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
