Mammography Technologist
Shift: Full-Time M-F 8a-4:30p
$10,000 Student Loan Repayment

As a Mammography Technologist at Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

• Current Basic Life Support – (BLS) certification required.
• Valid Mammography certification and registered ARRT
• New Graduates must be ARRT registered within 90 days of hire

About the Job:

• Under the supervision of the Radiologist, is required to perform routine diagnostic procedures. Must exhibit expertise in patient care based on patient’s needs appropriate for the adult and geriatric patient(s).
• Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion. Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining records and files, and cleaning and adjusting equipment as needed.
