The Respiratory Care Team Leader performs administrative functions as assigned, as well as performs Respiratory procedures as described in the policy and procedure manual. The Respiratory Care Team Leader is expected to be neat and professional at all times during the performance of their duties. The Respiratory Care Team Leader must maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:

• Graduate of an NBRC approved school of respiratory therapy.
• Current license in state of Tennessee as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, in good standing, (Registered requirement applies to new hires after January 1st 2014).
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current NRP certification
• At least 5 years of acute care experience required.
• Interpersonal and communication skills

PREFERRED:

• Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy or health related field
• Clinical supervisory experience
• PALS certification
