Requirements:

• Current BLS from AHA or ARC
• active Surgical Technician Certification (CST) established by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• One year experience as a CST preferred

About the Job:

The Surgical Technician functions as members of the surgical team in the role of scrub person, handles instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Facilitates the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
