J Job Summary: The Production Supervisor assists the Production Manager in meeting the set goals of the President/CEO in manufacturing quality PVC pipe at the lowest costs along with overseeing and developing staff performance. Job Responsibilities: - Oversee and train staff in the manufacture of PVC pipe to include line startup and operations, changeovers, and ensuring a quality product.
- Comply and ensure all personnel follow safety and company policies and procedures in all areas of the facility.
- Troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimum product quality and efficiency.
- Train, oversee, and continue development of staff and overall production performance.
- Monitor production activities in the absence of the Production Manager.
- Conduct daily walk-thru to evaluate pipe quality, extruder conditions, and cleanup.
- Ensure production runs efficiently with minimal scrap rate.
- Ensure PVC pipe is weight compliant.
- Achieve monthly production goal set by President/CEO.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
