Sanderson Pipe's corporate office is located in Tennessee (Clarksville), with additional production facilities in Kansas (Pittsburg), Texas (Houston), and Florida (Sanderson). Sanderson Pipe supplies PVC pipe to wholesalers for the Southeast and Midwest markets.
Description	Sanderson Pipe Corporation manufactures plumbing, irrigation and waterworks PVC pipe in diameters ½'' to 24''. Sanderson Pipe's corporate office is located in Tennessee (Clarksville), with additional production facilities in Kansas (Pittsburg), Texas (Houston), and Florida (Sanderson). Sanderson Pipe proudly supplies quality PVC pipe to wholesalers throughout the Southeast and Midwest for clean water, sanitary sewer and irrigation applications. We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken inside sales representative to join our sales team. This individual will be responsible for working closely with the sales and customer service teams, communicating with customers, understanding market dynamics and ensuring a smooth sales process while meeting sales targets. The positions will be located in Clarksville, TN. Job Responsibilities: Develop product knowledge to answer customer questions Understand pricing methodology, inventory and market dynamics Travel an estimated 3-5 days a month to meet customers, visit production facilities, and/or attend industry events Handle customer complaints in a professional manner, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution. Use excellent oral communication and best practices in customer service when interacting with customers Manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools Assist customers with pricing and placement of orders Communicate with assigned sales representatives Manage house accounts Enter and process orders received on-line, email or other methods Match orders and build truckloads for shipment Assist with preparing shipping documents (packing slips and picking tickets) Assist with pre-calling customers to schedule delivery appointments Assist with arranging shipment of orders Adapt to new technologies and processes as they are implemented Take ownership of rebate calculations and tracking Assist with daily, monthly and annual reporting
Position Requirements	Job Requirements: Effective communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to incorporate appropriate phone etiquette. Strong problem-solving skills Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times Ability to work both individually and as part of a team Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time effectively Self-motivated and able to work under limited supervision Must be able to work in a fast paced and stressful work environment Perform clerical work with speed and accuracy Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask Strong listening and sales skills Ability and desire to achieve targets Willingness and flexibility to travel Strong knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other data base software Previous experience in Customer Service or related sales position preferred High School Diploma/GED, 4-year degree preferred
