Job Title: Industrial Equipment Mechanic


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and rotating systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machinery failures and breakdowns quickly to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Inspect machine parts for wear and replace components as necessary.
  • Install, align, and test new or rebuilt mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts usage in the CMMS system.
  • Operate tools such as welding equipment, grinders, drills, torque tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes as required.
  • Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and Company safety policies; actively participate in safety programs.
  • Assist in planning and execution of equipment upgrades, modifications, and overhauls.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machine performance and reliability.
  • Respond to emergency call-ins and support overtime needs as production demands.

Desired Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical or Vocational Certificate preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical repair (manufacturing or construction environment preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, pumps, valves, conveyors, and power transmission equipment.
  • Basic working knowledge of industrial electrical systems is a plus.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
  • Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and work in elevated or confined spaces.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed.

Work Environment:

  • Industrial construction or manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
  • Use of proper PPE required at all times.
