| General Description: This position performs administrative, human resources, and safety functions for the Human Resources and Safety Manager and the General Manager. Confidentiality, professionalism, trust, accuracy, initiative and knowledge of company policies and procedures are essential. This position is also responsible for performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities to meet plant goals and deadlines. Plans and executes various plant-wide events and activities. Cleans, maintains, and organizes areas of responsibility. This position requires a self-starter with attention to detail and an ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization. Essential Functions: - Exceptional attendance including working every day, on time, as scheduled.
- Promote and maintain MW/MB safety goals and ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
- Lead safety and housekeeping efforts and corrective actions within assigned projects and areas. Exemplifies safety in all actions and leads by example.
- Excellent computer skills including all aspects of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) to create and maintain proper documentation, graphs, diagrams, and systems. Composes and/or proofs letters, memos, reports, and postings.
- Maintains and monitors all plant job instructions and procedures and ensures they are reviewed and updated by the required schedule. Maintains complete and accurate master files.
- Ability to answer basic inquiries regarding benefits, activities, payroll, etc. Assist employees in applying for various benefits such as safety glasses, uniforms, service awards, etc.
- Receives and screens telephone calls for the facility with professionalism, understanding that answers given may affect confidentiality. Completes verification of employment forms for employees.
- Greets all plant visitors and ensures visitor procedures are followed.
- Maintains HRIS for hourly associates including payroll information.
- Conducts orientation for and training new employees according to established policies and procedures.
- Assist all other departments and managers as needed.
- Research and prepares summaries on assigned projects, including confidential information concerning employees including medical expenses, attendance, safety data, etc.
- Assists in organizing and coordination of company-sponsored events and activities and participates on various teams as needed. Some work may require after hours.
- Responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of all documents, office supplies, and some janitorial supplies. Responsible for housekeeping standards in the break rooms, conference rooms, and front kitchen/mailroom areas including cabinets, drawers, etc.
- Conducts and assists with monthly safety training and safety meetings for hourly and salaried employees.
- Audits and maintains all First Aid, AED, medicine, and hygiene stations inside the facility.
- Assists Human Resources & Safety Manager and General Manager in all related areas.

| Beneficial Experience and Skills: - Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office products.
- Two years' experience in an administrative role.
- OSHA general knowledge
- OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour training
- Annual safety training requirements (industrial hygiene, hearing, first aid, respirator, etc.)
- Human Resources general knowledge (onboarding, exiting, benefits, FMLA, etc.)

| Physical Demands: - Occasionally lifts, carries or otherwise moves objects up to 20 lbs or less when stocking office supplies or preparing for company activities.
- Regularly bends, stoops, stretches and reaches to investigate safety-related issues, stock office supplies, etc.
- Frequently moves about the facility to survey plant and associates.
- Regularly operates computer and other office equipment.
- Occasionally attend meetings away from the office.
