We are looking to employ a Turn Technician with knowledge of residential & commercial maintenance procedures involving light construction trades, cleaning, and repairs. A Turn Tech is expected to have fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will need to be self driven and possess fantastic communication skills with a great eye for detail.

The Turn Technician is responsible for preparing rental units for new tenants by ensuring they are clean, functional, and meet all quality standards. This role involves conducting minor repairs, painting, cleaning, and performing other tasks to ensure that the property is in excellent condition before new tenants move in. The Property Turn Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the overall quality and appearance of the property. Top candidates will be fantastic at unit make ready procedures and have knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Turns / Make Ready’s
  • Interior demolition
  • Drywall repairs and replacement
  • Painting
  • Light Plumbing
  • Fixture Replacement
  • Toilet, tub, & shower repairs or replacement
  • Cabinet repairs & replacement
  • Door replacement
  • Ceiling repairs
  • Appliance repair & replacement
  • Replacing blinds
  • Subfloor repairs or replacement
  • Exterior pressure washing
  • Gutter cleaning
  • Miner roof work


Cleaning

  • Sweeping
  • Mopping
  • Dusting
  • Kitchen appliances
  • Bathroom fixtures
  • Carpet cleaning
  • Baseboards
  • Windows

Fire, water, & mold remediation may sometimes be required.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

None required.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

1 year experience in property maintenance or construction is a plus.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Reliable transportation & current drivers license.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to drive Millan Enterprises vehicles and keep them maintained in good condition.

WORKING CONDITIONS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employee could be exposed to rain, snow, and extreme heat or cold. Employee should be able to lift items up to 50lbs frequently, and 75-100lbs as needed on occasion without injury. Employee should be able to climb ladders, and operate tools for long lengths of time.

HOURS / SHIFTS

7 am to 4 pm; Monday through Friday; weekends as needed


SALARY

$16 - $18 / hr
