Position Description

The Maintenance Planner will plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities for Microvast’s critical assets. Will work collaboratively with all maintenance staff, engineering, procurement, and project managers to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of equipment and machinery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage equipment and assets vital for lithium-ion battery production.
  • Prepare a live maintenance plan including predictive, preventive, and autonomous routines through analysis of equipment downtime, condition monitoring and potential failures identified through Functional Failure Analysis of key equipment.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance work related to corrective, preventive maintenance, work order request, equipment installation, and project related work.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, and maintenance costs using a CMMS.
  • Train employees on how to use the CMMS program.
  • Establish and maintain clear communications between Operations and Maintenance regarding equipment status during maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years work experience as a maintenance planner or 5+ years’ experience in a similar position in the manufacturing industry
• Strong SAP software background, with SAP S/4HANNA preferred.
• Strong knowledge and skills with CMMS programs, preferably Maintenance Connection.
• Effective communication skills – written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and planning skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good work ethics
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as the ability to take independent initiatives as needed.
