Microvast is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer – Electrode  for our Clarksville, Tennessee location.

 

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be responsible for and be viewed as the subject matter expert in your assigned process area. To accomplish this, you will work with a team of highly skilled Safety, Quality, Maintenance and Operations personnel to achieve department and facility objectives.

Job Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer responsible for the Electrode Process you will:

  • Review equipment design to ensure they meet or exceed Microvast requirements related to Safety, Quality, Cost, Throughput, Maintainability and Reliability.
  • Coordinate personnel, both local and from equipment providers, during the installation, commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing phases of the project.
  • Upon completion and acceptance of the equipment you will continue to support resolving ongoing issues on a daily basis.
  • Using methodology such as Kaizen and  Lean Six Sigma to identify, develop and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level.
  • A minimum of 5 years overall related engineering experience within a Manufacturing setting.
  • Professional Certification – Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management Professional
  • Proficient with Manufacturing software – AutoCAD, Microsoft Applications – MS-Project, MS-Power BI, MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Technical Acumen, Problem Solving, Project Management, Communication, and Dealing with Ambiguity are key skills and attributes that an individual must demonstrate to be successful in this role.
  •  
  • Batch process systems, coating/laminating, drying, and calendaring experience is desired.
  •  
  • Experience in Lithium Ion Battery Manufacturing is desired but not mandatory.
