Position Description

As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, specification, development, and implementation of controls systems for production equipment in the manufacturing of Lithium-Ion Batteries.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the development, deployment and sustaining of automated control systems for Microvast’s production equipment and processes.

Ensure automated control systems are sufficient in design and capability as to not negatively impact production requirements.

Validate that automated control systems are reporting accurate and timely production data.

Through design and deployment standards the automated control system is consistent with other Microvast facilities.

To be successful in this role the candidate must have the ability to:

• Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements.
• Troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes.
• Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.
• Maintain quality and safety standards are upheld.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electrical, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering preferred.

2-4 years of experience in a related field.

Technical proficiency in Omrion, Siemens and Keyence software applications.

Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems.

Excellent communication skills.

Proficient with Manufacturing software – AutoCAD, Microsoft Applications – MS-Project, MS-Power BI, MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, SharePoint

Technical Acumen, Problem Solving, Project Management, Communication, and Dealing with Ambiguity are key skills and attributes that an individual must demonstrate to be successful in this role
