Position Description

Microvast is seeking a Facilities Technician for our Clarksville, TN location. The facilities technician will be responsible for maintaining the Microvast building and grounds, overseeing the upkeep of equipment and supplies, determining and scheduling installations, repairs, or renovation projects, and coordinating safety inspections.

Job Responsibilities

• Following standard operating procedures while performing facility maintenance and repairs, installing, inspecting, repairing, and perform preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management system and other plant repairs.
• Work with or assist contractors with complex repairs.
• Monitor and report all plant functions, including those related to operating systems, fire protection systems, computerized control systems and security systems.
• Respond to emergency situations, including fire and breaches of security.
• Calibrate all devices related to Microvast plant operation using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, test, diagnose and repair building and infrastructure issues/faults.
• Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and possess the ability to work efficiently with minimal direction.
• Previous training on Lock Out / Tag Out procedures and protocols.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and/or overtime as necessary.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented work environment and with cross-functional teams.
