Shift: Core business hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Direct Report: Mold&Bladder Unit Manager
Type: Exempt; Full-time
About the position
We are looking for a reliable Mold&Bladder Coordinator to perform administrative support duties in production management to include mold/container and bladder availability management, auditing, communicating with relevant members and external vendors, tracking inventory, entering invoices, and coordinating the shipping and receiving of repaired parts.
Responsibilities are:
- Manage mold, container, and bladder readiness to produce in advance based on weekly production plan
- Manage mold and container location, repair status, cleaning status, and alternative specs in advance utilizing IT management system
- Manage bladder inventory, location, alternative specs, and used bladders in advance utilizing IT management system
- Manage any bottle necks to prevent mold, container, and bladder inefficiencies such as machine failure
- Assist with the department’s internal and external auditing processes to include necessary documentation, inventory counts, and stock management for production molds and bladders
- Document damaged production molds; research mold repair price quotes; organize, analyze, and report price quotes to management
- Communicate with relevant members and external vendors regarding mold repairs
- Coordinate and schedule shipping and receiving for repaired molds and dry ice
- Ensure mold inspections are ready ahead of built schedule
- Inform management and production control for any irregular status (repair timing, mold damage, etc.)
- Enter invoices in SAP; perform additional data management tasks in SAP
- Build a good rapport with the Manufacturing Units for effective communication
- Assist in the development of training materials
- Perform administrative work related to daily production
- Manage all aspects of MRO for Mold&Bladder
- Take out the bladder scrap daily
- Support engineers with any additional administrative tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements are:
Education:
- (Required) High school diploma or GED
Experience:
- (Required) previous relevant experience
- (Preferred) engineering or IT related experience
Language:
- (Required) good command of written and spoken English
Skills and Knowledge:
- Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Engineering and Technology - Demonstrated know-how related to practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
- Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Mechanical - Functional knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Applied understanding of predictive, preventive and proactive maintenance methodologies
- Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
- Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
- Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to frequently move about the manufacturing plant campus, general office environments, production areas, and occasionally ascend/descend stairs
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Must be able to position self to file documents including the top and bottom drawers of file cabinets
- Must be able to occasionally move office equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
