JOB TITLE: Sales Support Associate

DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

JOB SUMMARY:

The sales support associate performs various administrative tasks to support the sales department.

Requirements include processing customer payments, creating and processing sales orders, communicating for order and payments with customers, dealing with customer service inquiries, managing customer accounts, and analysis customer payment status.

This busy position demands good time management, organization skills, and accounting ability.

Interpersonal skills are also essential because a large part of this position involves customer support.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Daily customer communication and management
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Order process management in the SAP system
  • Invoicing & AR tracking
  • Requesting AR payment in due time to customers
  • Inventory, shipping & receiving tracking
  • Pricing management
  • Quotation preparation for customers
  • Support sales activity
  • Manage travel expenses
  • Credit insurance and financial information collected
  • Track customer order shipment
  • Update shipping status to customers
  • Managing monthly closing order amount and quantity.
  • Creating Sales order report
  • Creating AR payment status analysis report

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, marketing or economics preferred
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
