JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Planner

DEPARTMENT: Sales

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain & Planning leader (Collaborative, Planning, Forecasting, Replenishment) coordinates with the 3PL company to assist with managing key account and maintains forecast replenishment analysis, and other sources.

RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Develop production & receiving schedules to meet all finished goods requirements while optimizing capacity usage, unit costs and inventory levels
  • Work with Sales and Operations to plan, develop, manage forecast, ad establish production schedules to meet customer demands
  • Develop production & receiving schedules in accordance with sales forecast
  • Track and monitor manufacturing & inspection schedule daily and throughout the month to ensure on-time delivery of products to OE/Aftermarket customers
  • Coordinate planning/scheduling with Sales, customers service, production, buyers, shipping and other team members to maintain capacity utilization, unit cost and customer service level goals
  • Create and track orders to achieve required on time delivery goals
  • Monitor the production schedule and anticipate possible changes as needed for when equipment fails and/or resources do not arrive as planned
  • Works closely with other departments, i.e. production, quality, customer service to ensure the completion of common goals
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Exceptional Communication: Including active speaking/listening, reading/writing skills which can make communicate with all workers
  • Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify problems as well as the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Computer Skills: Advanced MS Office skills to include Word, Excel, Power Point, OneNote, Outlook, and SharePoint; the ability to learn other systems and programs used by the company
  • Ethical Behavior: Must maintain the highest ethical standards in the conduct of company affairs; must conduct business with integrity and comply with all applicable laws in a manner that excludes considerations or personal advantage or gain
  • Details: Must have attention to details for all area and all workers
  • Active social interaction: Including active social interaction which can build good relationship with all workers

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related field preferred
  • Two (2) years of Supply Chain and/or Logistics experience preferred
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft office
  • Multilingual Korean and English is a plus

REQUIRED COMPENTENCIES:

  • Experience working for a manufacturing facility preferred
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of Inventory and Logistics flow
  • Exceptional computer skills, including MS Excel and other MS applications
  • Administration & Management
  • Must be Detailed Oriented
  • Requires a thorough understanding of industry practices, the organization’s needs and general business conditions
  • Exceptional Organization Style

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physical demands may include but not limited to the following:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment
  • Must be able to frequently move about the manufacturing plant campus, general office environments, production areas, and occasionally ascend/descend stairs
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Must be able to operate a computer and other office machinery
  • Must be able to position self to file documents including the top and bottom drawers of file cabinets
  • Must be able to occasionally move office equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to wear all required PPE while in production area

TRAVEL:

  • Less than 5% business travel required
