Position Summary

Florim USA is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Buyer to support procurement operations across materials, services, and special projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are sourced, tracked, and delivered efficiently to support production, sales, and customer needs.

The Junior Buyer will work closely with vendors, production, quality, accounting, and sales teams to support purchasing activities, maintain procurement records, and help resolve supply chain and invoice-related issues. Essential Functions

  • Review purchase requisitions and assist with bid preparation and purchase order creation.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including pricing, supplier performance, and on-time delivery tracking.
  • Support purchasing programs for tile and cut tile materials from domestic and international suppliers.
  • Assist with vendor coordination, including communication, issue resolution, and delivery follow-up.
  • Track and resolve past-due deliveries, invoice discrepancies, and payable issues in coordination with Accounting.
  • Support quality-related investigations for defective or non-conforming goods and assist in corrective action follow-up.
  • Assist in expediting materials and services to meet production and customer requirements.
  • Participate in vendor visits, meetings, and facility tours to support supplier relationships and performance evaluation.
  • Support marketing and sales initiatives, including customer sample requests and special projects.
  • Maintain and support B-Corp and ISO documentation and procurement specifications for production materials.
  • Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office tools to manage purchasing data and support reporting needs.
  • Assist with FSI order coordination for company locations in New York and Los Angeles.
  • Adhere to company safety policies, sustainability initiatives, and compliance standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, manufacturing, or administrative support preferred
  • Basic understanding of purchase orders, invoicing, and vendor coordination
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment
