Role Description

This full-time, on-site role of General Accounting Manager will be based in Clarksville, TN. This role is responsible for managing the company’s general accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with US GAAP, Group policies, and IFRS standards.

The Accounting Manager will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic financial decision-making.

Essential Functions

  • Lead daily accounting operations and manage the monthly/quarterly close.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and internal policies.
  • Drive process improvements, ERP optimizations, and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business strategy.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop the Accounting team.
  • Provide financial insights and ad hoc reporting for strategic decisions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager or equivalent leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred or similar platforms)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • CPA certification
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems
  • Additional language skills (Italian or Spanish) are a plus
