Wealth Advisor – Retirement Services Officer

Location: Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee (On-Site)

Status: Full-Time, Salary Exempt

What You’ll Do

  • Manage Retirement Accounts: Administer Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), SEP, and SIMPLE Plans in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Deliver Client Service: Provide timely, professional support, guidance, and education to clients and plan sponsors.
  • Ensure Compliance: Calculate RMDs, review tax reporting forms (1099-R, 5498), and ensure required documentation is current and accurate.
  • Partner on Investments: Collaborate with internal investment professionals to offer tailored investment guidance to clients.
  • Support Qualified Plans: Assist with education meetings and administration of employer-sponsored retirement plans.
  • Generate New Business: Develop and maintain client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand services.
  • Enhance Strategy: Participate in marketing efforts and contribute to the team’s sales strategy and goals.
  • Foster Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with Wealth Management, Commercial Lending, and other internal partners to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Stay Informed: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retirement regulations and financial planning best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with individual or qualified retirement accounts or fiduciary accounts.
  • Advanced credentials such as CPA®, CFP®, CRSP®, or CISP® preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of investment strategies, retirement planning, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and competing priorities.
  • Comfort in delivering presentations and discussing investment strategies with clients.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • High ethical standards and ability to maintain client confidentiality
  • Ability to commute to the primary work location and occasionally to other work locations within driving distance.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday.
  • Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet).
