What you will be doing:
• Representing FedEx in front of our customers, courteously picking up and delivering their packages
• Driving vehicles in FedEx fleet on defined routes in various postcodes, making sure customers’ packages get to the right place, on time
• Making sure vehicles are always operated safely and legally
• Following all FedEx Health and Safety and other company policies and procedures

• Be a reliable team player

• Have an eye for detail to make sure paperwork is correct
• Holding a valid driving license for type of vehicle assigned is essential and held for 2+ years would be an advantage.
• Adaptability to external driving conditions and circumstances is required
• Commercial driving experience would be an advantage
• Basic geographical knowledge

Jouw missie?

  • Je verricht laad- en loswerkzaamheden van het eigen voertuig of van collega’s.
  • Je bent zelf in staat om een productieve route te bepalen binnen het vastgestelde gebied op basis van het zendingenaanbod van die dag. Gedurende de dag ben je in staat om de binnenkomende haalopdrachten zo optimaal mogelijk te combineren in de route met inachtneming van de verschillende tijdskaders bij onze klanten.
  • Je bent gemotiveerd en draagt actief bij aan het behalen van de gestelde productiviteit- en kwaliteitstargets.
  • Je voorziet klanten van advies omtrent de benodigde documenten voor het verzenden van pakketten of pallets, denk aan invoices, T1 documenten of andere douane gerelateerde documenten.
  • Je verricht chauffeurswerkzaamheden op verschillende voertuigen (Mercedes Sprinters, Bakwagens) en gaat hier met een verantwoorde en nette manier mee om.
  • Je weet op de juiste wijze om te gaan met verschillende hulpmiddelen zoals elektrische pompwagen;
  • Je volgt de instructies van de Operations Supervisor en/of de afdeling Planning op.
  • Je bent het visitekaartje van FedEx. Je draagt de ter beschikking gestelde bedrijfskleding toont uiterst correct en representatief gedrag bij onze klanten en tegenover medeweggebruikers.
  • Je geeft opvolging aan de afspraken over beleid en regelgeving m.b.t. Security en Health & Safety.
  • Je stelt je gedurende je dienst pro/actief, flexibel en collegiaal op en levert een positieve bijdrage aan het gehele operations team.

Profiel

  • LBO / MBO denk- en werkniveau, bij voorkeur een logistieke richting;
  • In bezit van een geldig rijbewijs B; (minimaal 1 jaar in bezit)
  • Ervaring in de distributie is een pré;
  • Goede contactuele en communicatieve vaardigheden;
  • Teamplayer;
  • Resultaatgericht en meedenkend hoe we het morgen nog beter kunnen doen;
  • Goed topografisch inzicht;
  • Stressbestendig;
  • Flexibel inzetbaar binnen het operationele tijdsvak (08.00 – 21.00)

Als Courier maak je deel uit van het Pick-up en Delivery team binnen ons verzorgingsgebied.

De Courier rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Operations Supervisors.

  • 2603,40 bruto per maand excl. Toeslagen, zoals bijvoorbeeld koffiegeld
