Seeking a Survey Party Chief for the Murfreesboro office. Provide leadership for the field crew, collect field data, and transfer data to the office precisely. Responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and controlling field operations; reporting job status daily; performing various surveys using robotic total stations and GPS; ensuring accurate daily time sheets; reporting defective equipment and any accidents/damage; obtaining signed service orders daily and submitting them; ensuring necessary field equipment/supplies/safety gear are prepared and operating; reporting crew issues; other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of surveying experience as a crew chief; understanding of mapping concepts; ability to work outdoors; experience with GPS and Survey Pro/Carlson software.
