Seeking a Survey Party Chief for the Murfreesboro office. Provide leadership for the field crew, collect field data, and transfer field data to the office precisely. Responsibilities include: assist Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and controlling field operations; report to Project Manager daily for job status; perform surveys using robotic total stations and GPS; ensure time sheets are completed accurately; report defective equipment and any accidents/damage; obtain signed service orders; ensure necessary field equipment/supplies/safety equipment are prepared; report crew issues; other duties as assigned. Qualifications: minimum 2 years surveying experience as a crew chief; understand mapping concepts; ability to work outdoors; experience with GPS and Survey Pro/Carlson software.
