Applications are being accepted for the position of Part-Time Instructor in the Department of Art + Design. The primary needs are for Introduction to Art and Foundations.
Introduction to Art is a lecture class in the general education core.
The Foundations sequence includes drawing, two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and time-based design.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach Intro to Art and Foundations courses on-the-ground;
- Teach online or other areas of Art + Design as needed;
- We seek candidates with a strong commitment to teaching excellence.
Physical Requirements
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- MFA in Studio Art or Graphic Design or MA in Art History or Art Education for Introduction to Art;
- MFA in Studio Art or Graphic Design for Foundations.
- A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
