Part-time Instructor (Pool) - Graduate Strategic Leadership

The Department of Leadership and Organizational Administration is seeking to develop a
pool of part-time, temporary, adjunct instructors to draw on to teach online graduate-level
courses as opportunities arise within the Master of Science in Leadership – Strategic
Leadership concentration. Potential courses for adjunct instruction include: LDSP 5100,
Leadership for the Scientist-Manager, LDSP 5160, Organizational Strategy for Leaders,
LDSP 5310, Community Leadership, LDSP 5560, Small Group Leadership, and other
courses related to Leadership sub-topics as needed. Each of these courses are
designed to equip graduate students with in-depth knowledge about the behavioral
science of leadership and provide opportunities to apply that knowledge to real-world
situations through directed readings, written assignments, course discussions, and more.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach online courses in the Master of Science in Leadership program.
Physical Requirements
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force
frequently or constantly to move objects.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate in Leadership or related area;
- Significant professional experience in the specific area related to the course;
- A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
