Austin Peay State University is currently seeking part-time, temporary, instructors in the
area of Radiation Therapy, Radiography, and Medical Laboratory Science. The
Department is seeking an individual proficient in radiation therapy and/or radiography
didactics and medical laboratory science clinical practice and didactic education.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach in the area of Radiation Therapy, Radiography, and Medical Laboratory Science
based on demand from semester to semester.
- Interested candidates must be certified in the discipline for which they are applying.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Didactic and clinical instruction as needed.
Physical Requirements
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force
frequently or constantly to move objects.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- A Master’s degree and certification in appropriate discipline; OR
- A Bachelor’s degree and minimum of five (5) years applicable clinical experience in
appropriate discipline.
- For the Medical Laboratory Science position, MT or MLS certification is required.
- For the Radiologic Technology positions, RT certification is required.
- A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
