Position Summary | The Client Services Specialist is a temporary part-time position responsible for assisting students, faculty, and staff with basic technical issues, logging support tickets, and ensuring timely and accurate communication of IT service requests. This position reports to the Client Services Coordinator. |
Primary Duties and Responsibilities | - Answer incoming calls and provide Tier One IT support for common technical issues.
- Log and categorize support tickets using the university’s ticketing system.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier Two support or appropriate IT personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of support interactions and resolutions.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines for IT support and ticket management.
- Assist with other Help Desk duties as assigned.

- Familiarity with computer systems and troubleshooting.

Physical Requirements | - Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Required Minimum Qualifications | - High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in IT or related field preferred.
