Position Summary | The Evening Maintenance Technician is under general supervision and performs work in a variety of skilled maintenance areas to include plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, electrical, painting and related areas.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities | - Perform a variety of carpentry tasks in the renovation and maintenance of buildings and other facilities.
- Perform a variety of plumbing tasks such as removing, replacing or repairing plumbing fixtures, water lines, etc.
- Perform minor electrical repairs such as replacing switches, outlets, ballasts and lights.
- Perform work of an unskilled, semi-skilled or skilled nature when necessary such as painting, masonry, etc.
- Perform a variety of mechanical tasks such as preventative maintenance on air compressors, exhaust fans, etc.
- Perform work on heating/ventilation/air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Must wear proper PPE (safety shoes, hearing and eye protection) as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | - Knowledge of methods, materials and procedures used in general repair and maintenance work.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of machines, tools and equipment used in a variety of tasks as required.

- Ability to use, clean, repair and maintain equipment, tools and machinery required in accomplishing tasks.

- Ability to work an on-call status.
- Ability to work overtime as needed and in inclement weather duties.

Physical Requirements | - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Bending, twisting and lifting weights to 100 lbs.
- Heights and working on elevations of 60 feet.

Required Minimum Qualifications | - High school graduate or equivalent (GED, HiSET, or other).
- A minimum of three (3) years of previous work experience in building and plant maintenance involving a variety of work such as plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work a shift of Wednesday-Sunday from 1pm-9pm.
- Basic computer literacy.
- A background check will be required of the successful applicant.
